Job Summary

This role involves joining the Technical Services team in Bochum, focusing on the maintenance, repair, and configuration of IT systems for both internal use and external clients. The technician will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of hardware components, ensuring systems are current, and upgrading/expanding hardware at various workstations. Key daily tasks include installing and configuring hardware in client and server environments, independently managing software installations, updates, and customizations, and resolving technical issues via ticket management within defined service levels. Candidates must have a completed IT apprenticeship (such as IT Systems Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Technician) and initial professional experience in IT maintenance and hardware repair (PCs, notebooks).
