Job Summary

This is a permanent, full-time Civil Engineer position within the regional business division of Gandersheim, focusing on construction programs, financing, and road construction for the Lower Saxony State Authority for Road Construction and Transport. The role primarily involves preparing tender documents for earthwork and road construction projects, including complex ones, and conducting necessary local surveys. Key responsibilities also include evaluating bids, drafting award proposals, managing awarded construction contracts (including handling supplementary and additional offers), and monitoring warranty claims. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for determining, monitoring, and updating budget and controlling-relevant data. Ideal candidates must possess a degree in Civil Engineering and demonstrate strong leadership skills, goal orientation, resilience, and the ability to handle conflict situations effectively. Fluency in German is a mandatory requirement for this public sector role.
