This role involves joining the team at Bosch's new, fully automated 300 mm semiconductor manufacturing facility in Dresden as an Advanced Process Control (APC) Engineer, specializing in Fault Detection and Classification (FDC). The primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining FDC control algorithms based on tool and measurement data modeling to enhance process stability, machine availability, and reduce media consumption. The engineer will analyze and resolve complex production and process issues, utilizing data correlation and analysis to improve overall process quality and yield, while ensuring compliance with Bosch's SPC, FDC, and R2R standards. Key qualifications include a Master's degree in a relevant technical field, practical experience in semiconductor manufacturing and process control, and knowledge of industrial communication protocols like SECS/GEM and modern Data Science methods. This position offers the opportunity to integrate cutting-edge AI and Data Science techniques into high-volume manufacturing processes.

Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed university degree (Diploma/Master) in Semiconductor Technology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Natural Science, or comparable field.

Experience

  • Experience in data analysis and data processing using modern Data Science methods
