Job Summary

This role involves specialized engineering and project management focused on gas and water metering systems for a major utility provider in Düsseldorf. The engineer will be responsible for planning and budgeting the management of measurement devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (Eichrecht, DVGW). Key daily tasks include leading critical projects, such as legally mandated meter exchanges for gas and water, and managing the installation of gas pressure regulators alongside the natural gas conversion process. Additionally, the role requires participation in tendering and awarding service contracts for metering services, managing external service providers, and ensuring the compliant maintenance and budgeting of domestic gas pressure regulators across all pressure levels. The ideal candidate possesses an engineering degree in supply technology or a comparable qualification, deep technical knowledge of gas and drinking water systems, and familiarity with relevant German and European regulations.
