Job Summary

This pivotal role within a major regional energy and water supplier focuses on ensuring robust performance and regulatory compliance across the main department. The Performance and Governance Manager will serve as the primary contact for implementing and steering legal requirements stemming from general procurement law (including SektVO), data protection (GDPR/BDSG), and tax law, integrating them into procurement-relevant regulations and management systems like integrated risk management. Key responsibilities include leading projects to translate new legal and standard requirements (e.g., LkSG, CSR) into operational procurement processes, steering departmental process adaptation, and managing the preparation and follow-up of internal and external management audits for various ISO standards (e.g., 9001, 27001). The position requires a strategic, holistic mindset, strong system affinity—particularly with SAP MM and Microsoft Excel—and expert knowledge of regulatory frameworks. Additionally, the manager is responsible for the onboarding and qualification of colleagues.

Required Skills

Education

Completed Master's degree in Business Administration or Economics (or comparable)

Experience

  • Professional experience in steering and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance
  • Foundational knowledge of procurement law including SektVO
  • Expert knowledge in management systems according to ISO 14001, 5001, 9001, 27001, etc.
  • Experience in leading projects for the implementation of legal and standard requirements (e.g., LkSG, CSR)
  • Professional experience in internal and external management audit preparation and execution
