Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Electrical Technician specializing in device and system technology, particularly for special signaling and warning systems used in emergency vehicles (fire, rescue, police). The core focus is on software configuration of complex systems to meet unique customer requirements. Day-to-day tasks involve setting up independent test systems, meticulously configuring and testing equipment, documenting work, and interpreting logs and protocols to analyze configuration errors. Candidates must be proficient in reading and handling circuit diagrams and wiring, identifying fault sources, and possess a high affinity for software configuration, often working at a PC. Experience in the automotive sector or similar fields (HiFi, sound, or lighting) is highly advantageous. This position offers autonomous work, a high degree of responsibility, and the opportunity to engage directly with customers via 2nd level support, contributing to prototype development within a European market leader.
