Day-to-day responsibilities include developing hardware components for automotive electronics, creating and maintaining schematics and layouts using tools like Altium Designer, and conducting rigorous testing and validation of developed components. A critical part of the job involves collaborating across departments for hardware integration, supporting fault analysis, and documenting development processes according to standards like the V-Model and Automotive SPICE. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, possesses several years of experience in the automotive sector, and has specific expertise in lighting applications, particularly LED diodes and drivers. Strong German language skills are mandatory for this position.
