This role involves taking component responsibility for Lithium-Ion cells within various High-Voltage (HV) battery projects, primarily focusing on development and validation activities. Day-to-day tasks include defining, coordinating, and evaluating cell tests to assess performance, lifespan, environmental resilience, and safety. The engineer will also define electrical, thermal, chemical, and mechanical cell requirements based on overall HV battery system needs, and develop and validate operating windows for Li-Ion cells. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Electrical/Mechatronics, and brings several years of experience in Li-Ion cell development, chemistry, or HV battery systems.
