Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive IT infrastructure management for a client in the energy sector. The IT Specialist will be responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of new projects, alongside the administration and expansion of the server and network infrastructure. A core focus includes ensuring and developing IT security concepts and managing monitoring systems, specifically PRTG, including sensor setup and incident resolution. Daily tasks also cover installing and configuring database/application servers, supporting system administration and user support, and automating processes. Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional training, coupled with at least 1-2 years of professional experience in a mid-to-large company or IT system house. Experience in 3rd Level Support or project leadership is highly desirable, as are good proficiency in both German and English.
