Job Summary

This role involves acting as a (Senior) Expert in IT Infrastructure, Network, Microsoft, and Cloud environments for AeroLogic GmbH, a joint venture between DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo based in Leipzig. The primary focus is on designing, documenting, and optimizing critical IT infrastructure components, including Microsoft Active Directory/Entra ID, networking, VMware virtualization, and backup/archiving solutions (Veeam, Barracuda). Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring stable, secure, and scalable operations, acting as the technical point of contact for IT Service Continuity Management and Information Security, and providing technical guidance to external service providers. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in hybrid Microsoft environments, network architectures (ideally Cisco), and structured troubleshooting, coupled with a strong desire to mentor colleagues and clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
