Job Summary

This role seeks a skilled Building Automation Systems Technician responsible for the operation, maintenance, and servicing of complex technical building equipment within a renowned public cultural institution in Cologne. Key daily tasks involve managing the Building Control Technology (BCT), including sophisticated measuring and control (M&C) systems. The technician will be crucial in analyzing and resolving system faults, performing necessary documentation, executing installation work, and regulating various domestic technical systems. Candidates must hold a completed vocational qualification, such as an Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology, Mechatronics Technician, or Industrial Electrician, coupled with initial professional experience specifically in M&C technology. The position requires a Class B driving license and the physical capability to work at heights, alongside good written and spoken German skills.
