Job Summary
This role is critical for ensuring KHS's world-class filling and packaging systems meet stringent customer specifications. The Commissioning Technician is responsible for assisting in the assembly, power-up, and start-up of complex electro-mechanical machinery. Day-to-day tasks involve performing detailed commissioning, documenting machine performance using ISO quality procedures, and reviewing/updating electrical and mechanical specifications in collaboration with engineering teams. The successful candidate will operate the machinery for customer factory acceptance tests, troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues, and provide technical support to field service technicians during installation. Key requirements include an Associate's degree or equivalent, 3 to 5 years of experience with complex electro-mechanical equipment assembly, and familiarity with ERP systems, AutoCAD, and various PLC/Motion Control software for diagnostics.

Experience

- Professional experience in large part machining
- Experience defining problems, collecting data, and drawing valid conclusions
- Experience communicating effectively with superiors, subordinates, and customers
