Job Summary
This crucial role involves managing the entire production lifecycle for advanced drive systems, focusing on E-motors and compact power electronics. The Production Planner will collaborate closely with internal sales and purchasing teams, primarily focusing on the technical feasibility assessment of new offers and generating detailed work plans and manufacturing cost calculations. A significant part of the job involves supporting the production team during prototype manufacturing and ensuring a smooth transition into serial production. Key responsibilities include defining optimal manufacturing batch sizes, managing and releasing production orders within the ERP system (SAP), and continuously analyzing and optimizing production processes for efficiency. Candidates must possess a background as an Electronics Technician, ideally with further qualification as a Master Craftsman or Technician, coupled with several years of experience in production planning or control. Required Skills
Education
Completed training as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, ideally with further training as a Technician or Master Craftsman, or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in production planning, work preparation, or manufacturing control
- Knowledge of system or assembly manufacturing is advantageous
