Job Summary

This role involves taking ownership of strategic IT procurement and vendor management for a housing industry client located southeast of Munich. The Strategic IT Vendor Manager will focus on identifying savings potential, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring smooth IT accounting operations, specifically managing the invoice workflow in SAP. A core responsibility is designing and overseeing strategic contract management, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met when dealing with IT service providers and suppliers. The successful candidate will also manage the Hardware Lifecycle Management processes, including maintenance contracts, and lead sub-projects within larger IT initiatives from planning through successful implementation. This position requires strong organizational skills, expertise in IT procurement, and familiarity with project management methodologies.
