Job Summary

This role involves leading a team responsible for ensuring the availability and safe operation of railway track systems (permanent way/superstructure) for DB InfraGO AG in Chemnitz. The Team Leader will oversee inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities, ensuring secure, punctual, and cost-effective operations. Key responsibilities include the technical leadership of staff, close collaboration with the District Manager, and ensuring timely and cost-optimized execution of track construction orders. Candidates must possess a Master Craftsman certification in Track Construction (IHK-Meister Gleisbau) or equivalent qualification, coupled with substantial professional experience in permanent way/superstructure work. Strong organizational skills, accountability for maintenance compliance, and participation in on-call duty are essential, complemented by proficiency in MS Office and SAP/R3 Net systems.
