Job Summary

This is a full-time, permanent position within the Building Management Department of the City of Langenfeld, focusing on technical building equipment. The role involves comprehensive management of building technology systems, including maintenance, operations, and modernization projects. Key responsibilities include planning, tendering, construction supervision, and final invoicing for conversion and renovation work. The successful candidate will also manage fault reports, ensure compliance with operator responsibilities (e.g., monitoring statutory inspections and documentation), and contribute to the digital management of the technical building register. Candidates must hold a qualification as a certified technician or master craftsperson, ideally in technical building equipment, HVAC, or electrical trades, and possess at least three years of relevant professional experience in system operation and maintenance.
