Job Summary

This role as an Electrical Construction Inspection Technician involves critical site supervision and asset management within Amprion's extensive transmission network, supporting the energy transition across Germany. Day-to-day responsibilities include taking full operational responsibility for electrical equipment, conducting mandatory on-site risk assessments, and ensuring strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards. You will act as the primary interface between construction teams and internal departments, independently overseeing specialized external contractors, monitoring all assembly work, tracking defects, and ensuring accurate documentation of all construction and assembly services. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a Master Craftsman or Technician in Electrical Engineering (or be close to completion by 2026). Key requirements include proficiency in MS Office, a valid Class B driving license, and the physical fitness necessary for working at heights (G41 certification). This position is ideal for a proactive, communicative team player seeking a challenging role with significant responsibility in maintaining and expanding Germany's vital electrical infrastructure.

Required Skills

Education

Completed advanced training as a Master Craftsman or Technician in Electrical Engineering. Skilled Electrician for specified work areas (Desirable).

Experience

  • Professional experience managing electrical assets and operational authorization
  • Experience in site supervision and monitoring specialized construction firms
  • Initial experience in overhead line construction and/or cable pulling (Advantageous)
