Job Summary

This critical role involves the independent operation and maintenance of high and extra-high voltage systems, essential infrastructure that powers 29 million people and supports Germany’s energy transition. The successful candidate will execute switching operations, perform device-specific maintenance, and take on system and work responsibilities. A key part of the job is coordinating external firms during maintenance projects, working closely with project managers, and ensuring meticulous documentation in technical database systems. We are seeking a proactive and responsible Electrical Engineering Technician or Master Craftsman with a strong background in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing high and extra-high voltage equipment. Experience with VDE/BG regulations and a willingness to participate in mandatory on-call duty are required.
