This role places you at the core of Apple's new custom silicon product development within the HWTech team, focusing specifically on the planning and management of silicon materials across various engineering teams. As an Engineering Project Specialist (EPS), you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and ongoing support of engineering silicon material, ensuring smooth flow from design phases through production release and ramp. Day-to-day tasks involve developing material plans, driving vendor accountability for quantity and schedule, tracking material Work In Progress (WIP), and mitigating issues arising from shortages or delays. The ideal candidate is a highly detail-oriented material manager with excellent interpersonal skills, familiarity with the semiconductor supply chain, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment, providing essential support for state-of-the-art silicon validation programs.
