Job Summary

Join Apple’s Wireless Technologies team as a Cellular Software Engineer, shaping the future of wireless experiences across millions of devices globally. In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of embedded cellular software, from architecting and documenting L3 and L1 control software to driving development and commercialization. Day-to-day tasks involve identifying and developing core cellular technologies, performing rigorous unit and end-to-end testing of the protocol stack, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to balance power and performance. The ideal candidate possesses strong software engineering skills, including proficiency in C/C++ and scripting (Python preferred), coupled with a deep understanding of embedded systems concepts. Experience with test specification, implementation, and defect analysis is essential. Required Skills

Education

Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Communications, or equivalent majors

Experience

  • Strong professional experience in software engineering design, programming, and debugging
  • Hands-on experience developing test specification, test case implementation, and analysis of related defects in the code and design
  • Professional experience with Embedded Systems concepts
  • Experience in driving requirements, design, development, and commercialization throughout the product life cycle
  • Experience in researching, developing, and applying AI/ML solutions in a production environment (Preferred)
