This role involves critical claims processing and administrative tasks within the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians in Thuringia. The specialist will be an integral part of the Claims Processing department, primarily responsible for the quarterly billing of medical services. Daily duties include meticulously reviewing submitted billing documentation, ensuring completeness according to existing guidelines, verifying the substantive plausibility against defined criteria, and implementing necessary corrective measures. A key component of the role is managing professional correspondence with members to clarify billing inquiries. Candidates should possess basic medical knowledge and initial administrative experience in the healthcare sector, along with the motivation to quickly master complex topics such as the Uniform Evaluation Standard (EBM) and the Federal Master Agreement. The position is initially fixed-term for two years, offering the security of potential permanent takeover, flexible working models, and the option for combined in-office and remote work.
