Job Summary

This permanent role seeks an experienced Onsite Support Specialist to join a leading German IT service provider, focusing on field service operations within the Potsdam area. The specialist will be responsible for the full lifecycle of end-user computing, including the installation and maintenance of desktops, notebooks, printers, and peripheral devices. Key day-to-day tasks involve rigorous on-site fault analysis and resolution for hardware, software, and network connectivity problems. You will manage incoming service requests through a ticketing system, handle workstation setup and dismantling, and provide essential user training, ensuring data and profile security. The ideal candidate holds vocational training in IT System Integration or equivalent, possesses multi-year experience in troubleshooting and Onsite Support, and is proficient in Active Directory and handling standard and mobile hardware. Excellent German language skills, a strong service orientation, and a driver's license for regional travel are mandatory prerequisites for this well-compensated position.
