Job Summary

This role involves supervising and managing the operation and maintenance of electricity networks for Schleswig-Holstein Netz, contributing directly to the energy transition in Northern Germany. The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring the power grid, assessing the condition of operational equipment through inspections and reports, and developing comprehensive maintenance strategies. Day-to-day tasks include planning, commissioning, and implementing construction measures within the network, managing technical project documentation, and assisting with budget planning and oversight. A key aspect of the role is ensuring compliance with work safety and environmental regulations, including site inspections and training, as well as participating in the on-call disturbance management service. Candidates must possess a completed technical education and a Master Electrician or Technician qualification, coupled with practical experience in electrical systems and familiarity with MS Office and SAP. This position is initially temporary, limited until December 31, 2027, offering a secure job within a major energy service provider.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical training (e.g., Electronics Technician for Operational Technology, Energy and Building Technology, or Electrician). Completed Master Electrician or Technician qualification (or currently pursuing it).

Experience

  • Practical experience in electrical systems
  • Professional experience ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards
  • Experience with switching authorization up to 20 kV (desirable)
  • Experience in organizing and controlling work safety and environmental specifications
