Job Summary

This role is centered on maintaining, expanding, and modernizing Berlin's extensive 36,000 km power grid, focusing specifically on high, medium, low voltage, and data cable systems. As an Infrastructure Planning and Network Project Coordination Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end project planning of complex network construction projects, from initial approval planning and detailed execution planning through to concrete cost calculation. A significant part of the job involves coordinating interfaces with internal specialist departments and external stakeholders to ensure seamless construction execution. You will also support project leadership in structuring projects and potentially act as a sub-project lead for major initiatives, assisting with monitoring and controlling cable planning. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology and possess initial planning knowledge in relevant voltage levels or secondary technology.
