Job Summary

This crucial role, based in Duisburg, seeks a skilled professional in building technology to specialize in energy management and the operation of complex building automation systems (GLT/BMS). Day-to-day duties involve overseeing the commissioning of measurement, control, and regulation systems, and continuously monitoring and adjusting plant parameters to guarantee maximum energy efficiency across municipal buildings. The specialist will be responsible for system optimization, identifying, locating, and resolving faults in technical building equipment (TGA) through mechanical and electrical root cause analysis. Furthermore, the role includes managing all repair, maintenance, and servicing activities, particularly those related to building automation, and supervising external contractors during maintenance work. Key qualifications include a state-certified Technician or Master Craftsman degree in relevant fields like Electrical Engineering or Supply Technology, coupled with foundational knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and building automation bus systems.
