This role involves leading the technical execution of complex national and international turnkey projects in High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC), Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS), or substations. The Lead Engineer will manage budget, quality, and timelines for the entire engineering scope, overseeing plant planning, developing project-specific concepts, and ensuring compliance with customer specifications and international standards. Key responsibilities include risk assessment, detailed planning of complete switchgear, and preparing engineering proposals and calculations. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably specializing in High Voltage Technology, coupled with relevant professional experience in power generation or transmission. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, negotiation proficiency in both German and English, and the ability to provide technical leadership to project teams, making this an excellent opportunity to drive cutting-edge energy transmission projects.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a specialization in High Voltage Technology, or equivalent qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in power generation or power transmission
