Job Summary

This role is for a System Engineer specializing in z/OS Mainframe, working within the Core Banking division's Services and Operations Tribe. The professional will be crucial in ensuring the smooth, reliable, and high-performing operation of the core banking system (agree21) for over 900 cooperative banks. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up, maintaining, and servicing related applications, managing productive data for the network, integrating application changes, and contributing to strategic projects. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, possesses multiple years of relevant IT experience, and is proficient in JCL and IBM Workload Scheduler. Experience with agile methodologies like Kanban and Scrum, along with strong communication skills and a structured approach, are essential for success in this cross-functional, multi-location team environment.
