Job Summary

This postdoctoral position focuses on cutting-edge research within the ERC-funded project "CooPAIRation," investigating the molecular and structural mechanisms of plant immune receptor cooperation, specifically Nucleotide-binding, Leucine-rich-Repeat proteins (NLRs), to develop sustainable disease resistance strategies in crops. The successful candidate will perform routine molecular biology and protein biochemistry, including protein purification and sample preparation for Cryo-Electron Microscopy (CryoEM) and subsequent data analysis. Key responsibilities also involve conducting immune response assays in plants and protoplasts, meticulous documentation, drafting scientific publications, and supervising students and guest scientists.
