Job Summary
Join the Freiburg Transport AG as an Electronics Technician in their tram workshop, contributing to the safe and reliable operation of Freiburg's public transport system. This role involves comprehensive vehicle and fault diagnosis, independent execution of maintenance and repair work on tram electrical systems, and working with various onboard systems ranging from 24V DC to 750V DC. You will be responsible for reading vehicle data using diagnostic systems, maneuvering trams for workshop transfer, and participating in on-call duties. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering, basic knowledge of programmable logic controllers, and a proactive, team-oriented approach to work. Required Skills
Education
Completed training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering or a recognized electrical engineering profession.
Experience
- Professional experience in maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, specifically in vehicle or industrial settings
- Experience with onboard systems and diagnostic tools
- Experience with different tram types and their electrical equipment (preferred)
- Experience with on-call duty (preferred)
