Job Summary

This role involves designing, dimensioning, and optimizing complex embedded systems, requiring expertise in component selection and adherence to strict design standards (EMC, norms). The developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining schematic diagrams using specialized CAD tools like Mentor DxDesigner, Expedition, and ConstraintManager, working closely with layout design, manufacturing, and quality management teams. Key daily activities include conducting and documenting commissioning, functional, integration, and EMC tests, performing schematic and layout reviews, and supporting type testing until final approval. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Electrical Engineering and possesses multi-year professional experience in hardware and PCB design, along with strong proficiency in German and English, and familiarity with LEAN and PLM methodologies to drive efficiency and innovation.

Experience

  • Multi-year professional experience in hardware and electronics development
  • Multi-year professional experience in PCB design
  • Experience with CAD tools (Mentor DxDesigner, Expedition, ConstraintManager)
  • Experience with measurement technology (Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers)
  • Knowledge in hardware-related software development (e.g., FPGA work or driver programming) is advantageous
