Job Summary

This M&A Analyst role is central to supporting the full lifecycle of potential acquisitions and investments. Day-to-day tasks involve conducting thorough market and competitive analyses to derive strategic recommendations, performing complex financial modeling, and executing valuation procedures, including DCF and Multiples. The analyst will be instrumental in creating business plans, investment papers, and decision templates for management committees, while also organizing and managing Due Diligence processes and coordinating external advisors. Successful candidates must hold a degree in Economics, Finance, or a comparable field, and bring initial professional experience in M&A, Corporate Finance, or Transaction Services. Essential qualifications include strong analytical skills, expertise in financial analysis and company valuation, and fluent proficiency (C1 level) in both German and English, alongside excellent command of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
