Job Summary
This full-time role in Halberstadt involves ensuring the maximum operational availability of complex, PLC-controlled conveyor and storage systems within an automated logistics environment. The PLC Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing comprehensive maintenance, inspection, and repair duties, including the crucial analysis and resolution of electrical, mechanical, and software-related malfunctions, specifically utilizing Siemens S7 / TIA-Portal controls. Key responsibilities include updating and optimizing existing PLC programs to boost performance and prevent future errors, executing preventive maintenance routines, and utilizing Condition Monitoring techniques for predictive maintenance. The position requires meticulous documentation of all service activities in a digital management system, adherence to strict safety guidelines (DGUV V3), and active participation in continuous improvement processes (KVP). The ideal candidate must be resilient, reliable, self-starting, and capable of working effectively in a shift environment, including nights and weekends. This opportunity is initially temporary employment with excellent prospects for permanent takeover.
