Job Summary

This is a pivotal role as a Construction Management and Preparation Engineer within the Federal Highway Company (Autobahn GmbH) at the Deggendorf branch office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive planning and execution of federal highway projects, covering new construction, expansion, and essential maintenance work. Key daily activities include serving as the local site manager, developing comparative technical studies complete with cost calculations to ensure economic viability, and rigorous creation and review of construction and execution documents. A significant part of the role involves managing the procurement process, including drafting tender documents and overseeing contract awards for both construction and engineering services in strict adherence to German regulations (VOB and HOAI). Applicants must hold a degree in Civil Engineering and demonstrate substantial experience in road construction tendering and contract administration.
