Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Senior IT Service Technician based in Belgium (Brussels or Mons) as part of a 24-month long-term assignment, supporting the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The technician will be responsible for providing on-site IT services, including handling Incident and IMAC (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes) requests at Bundeswehr locations. Key day-to-day tasks include the installation, commissioning, upgrading, and maintenance of hardware and software, as well as the administration of IT infrastructures, networks, and server environments. This position requires providing 1st and 2nd level support to users and ensuring compliance with agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an IT Systems Electronics Technician or IT Specialist, possesses approximately three years of relevant field service experience, and is proficient in both German and English, with French and/or Dutch being beneficial.
