Job Summary

This is a key leadership role within the Office for Digitalization and Information Technology for the Burgenlandkreis district administration, focusing on driving the region's digital transformation initiatives. The Head of Digitalization Subdivision will be responsible for the strategic development and operational management of the subdivision, leading complex, parallel digitalization projects aimed at creating a citizen-friendly, efficient, and less bureaucratic administration. Key responsibilities include conceptualizing digital and process standards, managing project budgets, and providing expert advice to administrative leadership. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Informatics or Business Informatics) and possesses proven leadership experience alongside at least three years of practical experience in digitalization.
