Job Summary

This role involves the technical implementation, support, and development of the 'Inter-municipal Digital Care Twin' model project for the Burgenlandkreis district administration. The Application Administrator will be crucial in organizing the technical project launch, managing the IT architecture, and administering access rights for staff across the district and municipalities. Key responsibilities include ensuring technical compliance with data protection and IT security regulations, developing a sustainable data backup concept, and coordinating with software developers and system administrators. The position requires a degree in Informatics, E-Government, or Data Science, coupled with expertise in database management (SQL), digital twins, and IT security. This is a unique opportunity to shape an innovative, scientifically supported digital planning instrument aimed at strategically addressing demographic changes and increasing the need for care and support structures in the region, working in a challenging public service environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Informatics, E-Government, Data Science, or a comparable field

Experience

  • Professional experience in application support (desirable)
  • Experience in public administration, care, care prevention, or elderly assistance fields (desirable)
  • Experience working with geodata, generative AI, and website construction (desirable)

Additional

  • Possession of Class B driving license; willingness to use own private vehicle for business purposes against cost reimbursement; position is part-time (35 hours per week); employment is temporary (approx. three years) within the scope of a funding project.
