Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Technical Specialist for Building Automation within the Technical Facility Management department of the Bundeswehr Hospital in Hamburg. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating the building automation systems using specialized software, performing administrator functions for the automation network, and ensuring the functionality of communication systems, control stations, and data points. The specialist will conduct maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of central building control systems, handle the commissioning of new installations, and implement minor expansions to the automation level. Key qualifications include a completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, specialized further training in measurement, control, and regulation technology, and a Class B driving license. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electrician (specializing in Energy and Building Technology, Automation Technology, or similar); Completed additional specialized training in Measurement, Control, and Regulation Technology

Experience

  • Acquiring system-specific certificates of competence (e.g., Bosch or Johnson Controls)
