Job Summary

This role involves supporting the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) IT infrastructure, specifically focusing on the operation and management of the Mail Service (currently MS Exchange) within the Harmonization of Command Information Systems (HaFIS) project. The IT System Electronics Technician will be responsible for evaluating operational data, executing release management for the Mail Service, and coordinating IT service management tasks. A core duty includes implementing architectural specifications to ensure multinational interoperability of the HaFIS Mail Service. The successful candidate must hold a qualification as an IT Specialist in System Integration or a System Electronics Technician, possess strong experience with MS-Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook), and be prepared for regular multi-day business trips and training. Experience

  • Professional experience in applying the MS-Office product family (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar mail programs
  • Experience with an integrated service management application (e.g., IBM MAXIMO) (Desired)
