Job Summary

This role offers an opportunity to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Mannheim as a Development Engineer or Scientist, focusing on the execution, planning, and documentation of complex experimental programs within the diagnostics field. The professional will independently conduct experiments, perform measurements under various climatic conditions, and work with human materials like blood and plasma for sample preparation. Key responsibilities include systematic evaluation of process tolerances, alternative materials, and potential interferences, as well as data collection for manufacturing and testing regulations. The ideal candidate holds a degree (Master's preferred) in Natural Sciences (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Sciences) and possesses experience in developing Point-of-Care (PoC) diagnostic systems. Strong documentation and data analysis skills using standard software like Excel and Word are essential, alongside proficiency in both German and English for communication and documentation.
