Job Summary

This role involves designing and implementing control systems for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) substations. The engineer will be responsible for the conception and design of Bay Control Units (BCUs), developing and testing control software using simulation and real-time environments, and ensuring technical requirements align with project goals, customers, and suppliers. A core part of the job is the implementation of the IEC61850 standard for controls and data exchange with SCADA systems. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Engineering, professional experience in BCU parametrization (preferably with SIPROTEC 5 devices using DIGSI and CFC), and a strong understanding of high-voltage and substation technology.
