Job Summary

This role as an IT Application Manager is focused on connecting people and technology by ensuring the optimal performance and availability of critical IT applications for renowned clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include the installation, configuration, and continuous operation of server-side customer applications, alongside the crucial administration and monitoring of associated middleware components (like Apache, IIS, Jboss, Tomcat, and WildFly) and databases (such as MSSQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL). A core function is troubleshooting application issues, coordinating necessary updates and upgrades, and ensuring strict adherence to IT security guidelines. Candidates require a completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent, coupled with several years of professional experience managing Linux and/or Windows server environments. Extensive knowledge of ITIL processes is also necessary.
