Joining FERCHAU to support AIRBUS projects, the Materials Tester will be responsible for the end-to-end preparation and analysis of metallographic and materialographic samples. Day-to-day activities include embedding, grinding, and polishing samples, followed by advanced image analysis using state-of-the-art optical and digital microscopy. The role involves testing a diverse range of materials including fiber composites (GFRP, CFRP), metals such as aluminum, titanium, and steel, as well as hybrid material combinations.
