Job Summary

This role involves supporting the digitalization of analog map material related to compensation and replacement measures for road construction administrations within the Vorpommern-Strelitz Federal Forest District. Key responsibilities include procuring analog maps, analyzing, processing, and ensuring the quality of existing geodata sets through georeferencing, and creating new geodata sets for input into the Federal Forest IT specialized system. The ideal candidate must possess a completed 3-year vocational or technical training, coupled with successful further education in GIS (e.g., ArcGIS specialization/Esri certification). Strong proficiency in ArcGIS and MS Office, especially Excel, is essential, along with a willingness to acquire knowledge of the Federal Forest IT system quickly. This is a crucial position supporting sustainable environmental management and federal real estate objectives.
