Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the stable operation and continuous enhancement of the Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) and Reporting platform within one of Germany's largest insurance groups. The System Administrator will focus on maintaining high availability, robust data backup, secure access concepts, and clear operational processes. Key responsibilities include automating repetitive tasks, monitoring performance, conducting error analysis, and managing capacity and cost control. The ideal candidate possesses experience in both on-premises and cloud Microsoft BI environments, strong SQL and database knowledge, and familiarity with Windows Servers. The position requires structured work using tools like Jira and Confluence, providing 2nd-level support to data teams, and implementing security and compliance requirements pragmatically.
