Job Summary

This role is for an Applied AI Engineer passionate about leveraging technology to ensure a secure life within the INTER Insurance Group, based in Mannheim. The specialist will be crucial in driving the company's digital transformation, focusing on the pragmatic, end-to-end implementation of prioritized AI use cases across various departments, moving beyond AI as a mere self-purpose. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining robust MLOps pipelines (CI/CD, containerization, monitoring), integrating AI services via Microservices and APIs into existing platforms, and defining architectural standards for data flows, model deployment, and security. The ideal candidate brings experience in software development (Python/Java), proficiency with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow/PyTorch, and strong competence in MLOps and compliance guidelines.
