Quality Technician, Metrology | Qualitätsprüfer (m/w/d) Messtechnik

Job Summary

This crucial role involves specializing in metrology and quality assurance for a customer in Donauwörth. The Quality Technician will be responsible for the entire inspection process, including selecting and validating appropriate testing methods and measuring equipment, and interpreting complex geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) specifications. A core function is the planning and creation of detailed inspection plans and instructions, alongside developing measurement programs for advanced 3D Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), specifically utilizing Zeiss CALYPSO, and optical measurement systems. Furthermore, the role requires strong analytical skills to statistically evaluate measurement results, conduct thorough failure analysis, and define necessary corrective actions. The successful candidate will act as a key interface between Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, and the Quality department, leveraging their extensive experience in manufacturing or quality management and their fluent German and intermediate English skills.
