Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Electronics Technician, Electrician, or Mechatronics professional to join the Kassel Waste-to-Energy Plant (MHKW). The primary responsibilities involve operating, monitoring, and controlling the main and auxiliary power plant systems, including the crucial task of starting up and shutting down the entire facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth, uninterrupted operations, identifying and responding appropriately to deviations and malfunctions, and coordinating corrective measures with the shift supervisor. Key qualifications include a completed technical apprenticeship in an electrotechnical field and several years of professional experience, ideally within a power plant or similar operational environment.
