Job Summary
The Zwickau District Office is seeking an IT Specialist for Software Distribution and Client Management to join their Finance and Service Department. This role is crucial for maintaining and advancing the IT infrastructure, focusing heavily on the conception, planning, implementation, and continuous development of software deployment systems. Day-to-day tasks involve defining and creating software depots, developing automation for end-device configuration, managing IT assets and inventory, and providing support for workplace technology (PCs, printers, terminals). The ideal candidate must have a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a relevant vocational qualification (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) with proven expertise in software distribution. Strong organizational skills, team capability, and fluency in German (C1 minimum) are essential for success in this part-time, permanent position.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Diploma FH or Bachelor) in Computer Science or a related field, OR a completed minimum three-year vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) with additional certified expertise in software distribution and client management systems.
Experience
- Professional experience in software distribution and client management systems (preferred for vocational qualification holders)
- Experience in building, operating, and developing a test environment
