Job Summary

The City of Leipzig is seeking a qualified Technician for Construction Supervision, initially on a one-year fixed-term contract, to join the Mobility and Civil Engineering Department. This role is crucial for ensuring the proper restoration of public traffic areas following utility line and track construction projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in route inspections, monitoring the professional quality of restoration work, formally accepting completed public surface restorations, and verifying measurements and invoices related to projects involving the department. The successful candidate will also manage the planning, control, and acceptance of services for cleaning road drainage systems, collaborate closely with internal teams on traffic regulatory matters, and initiate sanctions against those responsible for improperly closed excavations. This position requires strong technical knowledge in civil and road construction, familiarity with German construction regulations (VOB, ZTVs, DIN), and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
