Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical Engineering Technician, specifically a Technical System Planner, to join the Planning & Engineering department of a company passionate about electrical engineering for over 100 years. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the BIM transformation within the team. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating 2D and 3D electrical installation schematics and distribution board plans, primarily for commercial and industrial projects. You will also produce construction drawings, installation plans, and schematics for general electrical installations, safety technology, and data technology. Key qualifications include a completed vocational training as a Technical System Planner in Electrical Engineering Systems or equivalent electrical training combined with CAD expertise. Proficiency in CAD tools like AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation is required, and experience with Revit is highly beneficial. This position offers the chance to shape the digital future of electrical planning within a supportive team environment, with options for full-time or part-time employment (32-40 hours/week).
